CRL is the industry leader in the use of technology in creating the best youth soccer experience. The CRL Mobile App allows each team to manage all aspects of participating in the league. CRL uses this information to recognize organizations, teams and individuals who play a role in the creation of the 5-Star game day experience and to make decisions that will improve the overall soccer program.

Please complete the information below correctly using the upper and lower case characters. As Team Manager, you will be the responsible for disbursing communications from CRL to your team’s families. At the start of the season you will need to install the latest version of the CRL Mobile App on your smart phone. After each game you will be responsible for entering results, scores and cards. Your participation in keeping the CRL game-day experience positive is essential by rating both the opposing team and the referee. You will receive schedule changes and other last minute update on your phone. All fields on this form are required. Once this page is completed you have the option to return at any time before the deadline to complete your team application.

Bracket Selection Information

Teams applying to play MUST also participate in Calsouth National Cup in order to qualify for a Far West Regional Wildcard spot.

Teams applying to play in CRL do not have to participate in State Cup, but then are NOT eligible for a wildcard spot in Regionals.


Communications

Thank you for your application to once again be part of Coast Soccer League during the fall season. We are looking forward to another great year and we are expecting a record number of applications.

Last season based upon input from teams and referees CRL recognized many organizations, teams and individuals for the role they played in creating a 5-Star game day experience. The league expects everyone in the CRL community to be committed to the effort to ensure that everyone has a great soccer weekend. A review of the information from last season highlighted that your team did not honor this commitment and was reported for referee abuse and/or poor sideline behavior.

Before your team is re-admitted to CRL we would like to know what three specific actions you, your coach, team, players and parents are will be taking to ensure that game-days are safe, positive and enjoyable for everyone. Referees included!

Spring League Fields

Spring League 2022

 

Spring League will begin March 5th, 2022 and run through the end of April 2022.

Cost is $450 per team plus $300 per team if teams do not provide a home field.

Ref fees are the same as the fall 2021 season.

Teams signing up for Spring League also have the option to play in Spring Cup in May 2022 for no additional fee.

 

CSL Juniors Spring 2022

 

CSL Juniors; allowing clubs to form teams to compete in a relaxed soccer environment. Standings and scores do not need to be kept. Rosters are flexible as long as age-appropriate. 50% playing time for players is mandated.

Players must be registered with CalSouth. 

 

Game format and Team sizes

Spring 2025 format.

Roster Sizes for Spring 2025:

2013 (11v11): 18 players 

2012-2006 (11v11): 22 players

Start Date - March 8, 2025

End Date - May 18, 2025

CRL is committed to delivering the best competitive youth soccer experience in the US. To this end you are agreeing to abide by all CRL Rules and Regulations and that your team will be available to play on all weekends from March 8 through May 18 - except that CRL will schedule around State Cup games where possible.

In addition, you, as a Team Manager, agree to use the CRL mobile app to rate the referee and the opposing team after each game.
